The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has instructed all Point-of-Sale (PoS) operators, merchants, agents of fintech to register their businesses in compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines for PoS operators which the deadline is pegged at july 7, 2024 or operators will risk being arrested by the nigeria police. This new development is targeted at curbing the increasing rates of POS fraud & misappropriation.
